SkyGrid – PoolBuddy IoT Project
November 2017 – January 2018
In my role as a Junior IoT Hardware engineer, I redeveloped the existing Unix Bash and Python code base running on a Raspberry Pi to improve the accuracy of Ph and Orp readings by 20% for the PoolBuddy IoT Project. This involved firstly conducing several calibration tests involving various levels of Ph chemical values to develop standard linear equations to be used in current and future hardware prototypes.
I also worked on diagnosing the core networking code implemented in Unix Bash to reduce network disconnections by creating Access Points and connecting to 4G/Wi-Fi networks.
