Kensho – K21 Temperature Fan Controller
December 2018 – June 2019
The K21 Temperature fan controller is a product that Kensho collaborated with the company Custom Air, in order to develop a temperature and fan controller product. In my role in this project, I created the user interface and implemented the firmware with embedded C. The product allows users to control the fan speeds and temperature levels with the up and down buttons on the module.
The features of the product include
- 3 level fan speed control controlled via a software interrupt customised for each different speed
- 5 level temperature control working with a compressor and thermistor temperature sensor
- Low battery detection fault on 12V or 24V Supply
- 4 different states of the module including Standby, Running, Fault and Low Voltage start controlled with a digital input
